Tarts & Cakes @ Brasserie Bread – Part 1
After knowing this place was 10 minute drive from my house I finally got the chance to visit Botany’s hidden treasure. A breakfast entry will be up at the end of the week. I thought I’d make another appearance sometime this weekend as i’m dieing to try their other amazing breaky dishes! I’m super lucky Brasserie Bread is just around the corner from my door step! *score!*
Who said Brasserie Bread only makes bread? They also make amazing cakes and tarts for people with sweet teeth like myself ^_^ The tarts and cakes were calling my name and I just couldn’t resist purchasing them especially when they were brought straight out from the production line. I really wanted to buy some eclairs but I think it was too early in the morning :(
Chocolate Caramel Tart
A chocolate lovers heaven! Biscuit base with oozing caramel and rich good quality chocolate! When I first laid my eyes on the smooth silky caramel.. I knew I was gonna fall in love with it.. and in love I did!

Coconut & Blueberry Cake
OH MY GOD! By far the best coconut cake i’ve had in a long long time!!! The whole stump is amazing! Its rich, moist and most importantly its packed with coconut with lots of texture on your tongue. Definitely my favourite I cant wait to buy another one of these!

Brownie Cheesecake
Correct me If i got the name of this cake wrong.. Its a cheese cake with chocolate brownie like bits! Its another must try if your a cheesecake chocoholic! Texture is smooth, tasty and light.

Lemon Tart
The most easy to eat lemon tart around! I’ve had a lot of lemon tarts in the past some are super sour, some have a thick texture and some are more zesty. This lemon tart took me by surprise as I was expecting my facial expression to scrunch up! Boy was I wrong! It was soft lemon center with a pleasant sweet after taste. Very much enjoyed! Definitely a must try!

THE STORE

DUUUUDE what perfect lighting omg you’re the shiz! YOU’RE THE SHIZ! Anyway yes I’m jealous that you live only 10 mins away! I was there the other day for the first time, the boyfriend and I fell mad over heels inlove with their breakfast menu, and now I need to go to brasseriebread rehab because I’m completely addicted to the ciabatta loaf I bought! It is a bit of a trek from where I live but oh man I’m most definitely going back!

Yes I’ll be trying out the sourdough pancakes next and will buy a loaf of sourdough bread afterwards… do you think they get mad busy during Sunday lunchtime? I’m thinking of going there this Sunday but I don’t want to make the 40 minute drive only to wait for another 40 mins for a table….. ahhh things you do for a good feed!

I think I’ve fallen for that chocolate & caramel tart with its buttery melty pastry and the random but oh-so-thought-out sprinkle of chocolate buds on top.
ps) Your pictures are amazing!

Thanks for the comment! oh my goodness – you are an amazing photographer! Wait till I show the team that picture of the caramel oozing out of our chocolate tart, everyone will be screaming with delight haha yes, i know that sounds sad, but we get very worked up and excited over pictures. I’m so glad you enjoyed your BB experience! The Spicy Lamb Harissa sandwich on Schiachatta is fabulous for lunch but whatever tickles your breakfast fancy i suppose! Hope to see you in the Bakery soon

Are these tarts made by them or just sold by them? That chocolate caramel tart looks a lot like a Zumbo creation.
The brownie cheesecake looks so tempting!
