Laurent Boulangerie Pâtisserie – Petit Fours

Its sunday, the day I spoil myself with a mini tea time treat, I was in no mood to travel far so decided to pop into the local patisserie in search of something petite, tasty and something which wouldnt make me feel guilty. They’re super mini (height of a 50¢ piece) and fairly expensive. All up this cost me $14.

Taste

Imagine eating a Financier / Friand (light tea cake, that contains almond flour, crushed or ground almonds) made in a mini gulp size portion. They were all extremely beautiful each one having its own distinct taste.

  4. lordy, must remember not to look at your posts before lunchtime. those macro shots play havoc with a grumbling stomach! petit fours are great – little mouthfuls present maximum tasting opportunities!
