ON HIATUS!
Feels great to be in the country I was born in and acknowledge that Fiji is the country that is embeded in my blood. Quite sad that standard of living here is tough and its sad to see the locals suffer. I can only imagine how my relatives are also coping.

Just found out that Sheraton Fiji has a free internet bar which means.. YAY!!! i’m not secluded from the world outside this island! Quick note that i’m unsurewhen i’ll be able to post my next food as I’ll be flying  to New Zealand shortly after this trip. Who knows I may sneak one in before I leave again.

EXPENSIVE EATING
Eaten soo much food that I can’t believe i’m actually going to say this… I’m SICK of eating! Yes thats right… I’m soooo over fooooddd!!!!! Food options are limited here so most of the time we have no other choice but to spend a starting price of $88per person (everyday for dinner) at various hotel restaurants e.g. sofitel, hilton, westin, raddison etc

As you guessed food and bervages are ridiculously expensive due to their 17% tax rate. 1 round of drinks (4 cocktails) cost $89! I thought the Ivy bar was expensive sheeeeesh!.

FRESH FROM THE ISLAND
Fruits here are AMAZING!! Can’t get over how fresh and sweet and natural everything is. Coconuts are found everywhere so feel free to pick them up and crack one open! It’s like a weed.. it grows and drops everywhere.

HEALTH
Great news is I don’t think i’ve put on weight at all. The heat, kayaking, swimming and morning runs are helping me burn the lavish eating and lazing around the beach. At night its humid 29°c constantly breaking out in a sweat.

Back to paradise where it awaits for me..
