Hiatus: On Vacation
Bula!! (hello in fijian)
Apologies for my lack of posting. I’ve been holidaying in Fiji for the past week now and will be travelling through vietnam in the coming weeks. Internet in Fiji is fairly limited so i’ll try and approve comments and emails when I can. As for Vietnam, i’m not too sure on their internet accessability.
Hopefully when I get the chance, I’ll be able to post about the Fijian / Indian culture and their cooking methods. From my dining experience so far, indian curries are much more different to the indian cuisines which is served in Sydney restaurants.

Jealous that you’re travelling to Vietnam. I’m assuming you’ll be staying in the city? You’ll definitely find internet there, so no worries about that

I know the major cities will have internet but cos im not in the one place for long im not sure how smaller towns like phan tiet and sapa.

Wonder how they would react to the sydney equivalent if you cook it for them. Would they like it and consider it a worthy international and modern version? Or would they just think it’s a diluted version and not a good variation at all? Will an Indian national ever enjoy an Indian/Sydney fusion cuisine?
