Been here a couple of times in the past and collected a stash of photos i took of the food back then. Decided not to post any up because me being a picky freak i like my photos to be the same quality and digital camera images / coloring doesn’t match up with the SLR technology.. I tried editing them in Adobe Lightroom and hmm still wasn’t happy with it.

Standard Burwood cafe with schnitzel , steaks, pizza, risottos, salads etc. Its been about 5 years since i last had a meal of theirs and quite honestly it probably wasn’t good which is why i couldn’t remember it. With the amount of restaurants along Burwood Road, there’s soo many cafe’s to choose from which is probably why i haven’t come back to bellos in a long time.

Reading the reviews on the place their meals sound dodgy! Don’t think i’ll be trying that one.

Cake night so we thought my favourite triamisu cafe wouldn’t be serving desserts at 9:00pm (yeh no shiet gotta be 10:00pm) so it we went here instead as the other burwood cafe’s were packed out. Sha’ll be back at burwood for another review this up-coming week…hopefully.

AMBIANCE
Usual cafe atmosphere with lots of chit-chat and catching-up. Funny enough every time i come here i’ve bumped into people I know… why is that??? hmmm.. Anyways friendly atmosphere with boothes for privacy, and an upstairs venue for parties if your holding one (don’t think i’ve seen ppl eat upstairs).

SERVICE
It’s alright but could do better. Waited ages to put our orders through.. not sure if they were under-staffed but it sure felt like it.

FOOD
A big selection of cakes and desserts to choose from. From waffles, to pancakes, lemon meringue pie, to serendipity ice cream. and the good thing about this that all cake are $6.50!!! (BARGAIN!) High Cake turn over which is great because you know your getting a fresher slice.
