Last time I went to this cafe was back in the days of being 18 – 19, for a quick feed before hitting the streets to pump it up in the club LOL…
Ffichiban, one bite more and chocolatesuze recently posted an entry about going to blackbirds for a feed so we figured since Lis (another pigged-out administrator) is leaving for her big USA tour and is in need for saving some extra cash, Betty & Anita are from cabramatta region, myself is from the eastern suburbs and Lis who’s a north shore girl.. the logical meeting point was the city which left an option for a cheap $12 big breakfast!

FOOD
Big Breakfast – $12
Bacon, eggs, chipolattas, mushrooms, tomatoes, has brown and turkish toast

Eggs Benedict – $12
Ham, spinach, hollandaise on toasted turkish breadMy meal was cold which sucked =( I hardly touched it to be honest… i thought my bread woulda been toasted and i thought the spinach would be ‘english cooked spinach’ instead of spinach leaves sprinkled around the plate like a salad =(

Eggs Florentine – $12
Smoked Salmon, Spinach, Hollandaise on Toasted Turkish Bread

Overall Breakfast is breakfast.. despite our meals taking forever to arrive.. breakfast has never been one of my favourite meals of the day. I thought this place was standard but hey cant complain about the cheap meal especially for the location. I think next time i’ll stick to getting the big breakfast RARRRR!!!

Food is part of a social and cultural life that is created when food and people are brought together. Most importantly, I love food and the artistic presentation and flavours that are combined to create a work of delicious art!

oh… such a pity about the eggs benedict. it’s either so good or just so so bad.
i’m not a big breakfast fan myself… unless i’m eating out. in which case i tend to eat so much that lunch just isn’t an option. (Eggs! Bacon! Hash Browns! Hooray!)
