I’ve been here a billion times in fact I never really took photos of all the food in the past (dammit now i’m kicking myself)! They have 2 stores one in Burwood (which is the one I always go to) and athe other in Hurstville which is equally just as good. However if your like me and your coming to eat the best Fukien Rice in town, then Burwood is definitely the one to go to.
First of all, Canton Noodle House is a small restaurant that cooks awesome Chinese food!!! Inside may not look as glam but once you step through the door you wonder why it’s always so god damn packed!
Food is ridiculously cheap, portions are massive, service is efficient, tables are crammed, turn-over customer rate is high, restaurant is quite noisy, sounds of soup slurps left right and center and the sound of various chinese dialects spoken through-out the restaurant (employees are cantonese orientated but are also bilingual so mandarin is also spoken).
I mainly come here for their Fukien Fried Rice (Also known as Hokkien Fried Rice). Its the best in town! (no kidding..seriously.. its the best in town) Their sauce super tasty which is combined with pieces of roast duck, prawn, chicken, fish, Chinese mushroom, snow peas etc, egg etc. There isn’t a time where I haven’t ordered their Hokkien Fried rice! It is seriously to DIEEEEE FORRRRR.

Chef’s Special – Seafood Tofu Balls
These tofu balls are soooo yum!!! Golden on the outside, soft and white in the middle. Inside these balls are stuffed with seafood (dried shrimp, prawns, the lot) I love these soo much I could just eat them plain.

Tofu Ball Dipping Sauce
Make sure you dip the tofu balls in this sauce (i dont know what it is.. but it’s a chef’s special) it contains chinese mushroom (Yum)!!!!!

Fried Ice-Cream
Oh Mann I dont know if i was having a good night but is definitely one of the nicest fried-ice creams EVER! Some places make this soo crap (pre-made) but my one was made FRESH!!!! and it’s got sesame seeeeeds my favourittteee

Food is part of a social and cultural life that is created when food and people are brought together. Most importantly, I love food and the artistic presentation and flavours that are combined to create a work of delicious art!

This place has really good fried soft shell crab, you gotta try it. Along with Cafe Bello, we go here after our soccer matches for a hectic meal!

My fav chinese place in Burwood and about the only one worthy of note (there’s one other one up the road which isn’t too bad).
The tofu balls is pretty popular, especially Sunday evenings for some reason. Seems that the local chinese always order this and I’d only come across it out of curiousity. Surely, if around half the restaurant has ordered this, it must be good. Right?
