14 girls.. 1 host and a lot of food!
I’m sure a lot of you have already read a couple of posts about Ellie’s malaysian lunch with 14 girls and a load of food. I’m gonna make this a short post with a stack of photos. Consider this an eyecandy post – have fun!

Homestyle Malaysian
Ellie cooked up a storm in the kitchen. Everyone was in heaven while polishing up her soft tender beef rendang and her delicious chicken kapitan with coconut rice and various garnishes. Trissa helped out by bringing savoury dishes which included chicken wings and her yummy chorizo that everyone loved. It was a feast that left us bloggers stuffing our faces leaving not much room for desert.

Pressure Test
Karen tweeted the night before she would be making profiteroles and most assumed she would be making a croquembouche. Ellie suggested she make the toffee under the pressure of us food bloggers watching. Once the toffee was ready, desert queens Linda weaved the toffee around the profiteroles creating a work of art masterchef style.

Confession..
Karen, Helen, Betty, Steph, Lisa & I got there an hour early and we started deserts before everyone else arrived by eating Linda’s lemon tart based on a Thomas Kellar’s recipe. Linda your tarttt was SOOO GOD DAMN GOOD!!!!!!!

Ellie made Reese’s pieces brownie which I believe she got the recipe from a Ben and Jerry’s cook book which was downed with Ben and Jerry’s icecream ^_^ My favourite was the chocolate fudge brownie and the chunky monkey icecreams

All things sweet & beautiful
There was soo many deserts to choose from that I’m not going to write about each one of them. I’m still dreaming about Trissa’s hazelnut mouse tart. It was soo good that betty and I couldn’t get enough of it.
Belle made white chocolate and cranberry cookies for everyone to take home. I noticed the pretty wrapping and the poker dot paper (i remember your really good at paper crafts belle!) Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to take a photo of it cos I ate it while waiting for a train home – piggy i am (read her post here)
Helen’s salty popcorn cupcakes (read here) and Suze’s chocolate bowls with brownies, cream and fresh berries (read here).
